乔治T. Warren Scholarship
乔治·T. Warren Scholarship is awarded to help students with sensory and/or certain physical disabilities obtain a college education at the University Idaho.
乔治T. Warren was a graduate of University of Idaho College of Law and became a practicing attorney. In his later years, he experienced both sight and hearing loss. He also had a niece who became a wheelchair user in her mid-twenties. These personal experiences led him to leave an endowment to University of Idaho to assist students with certain disabilities who demonstrate financial need.
The award is up to $5,000 annually for undergraduates and graduate students. The reward is renewable up to five years.
All applications submitted after 2024年8月19日, will be reviewed and considered for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate and graduate students in any academic area are eligible. Preference is given to Idaho and out-of-state residents who demonstrate need through a processed FAFSA as determined by Student 金融援助 服务.
To be considered for the scholarship, students must:
- Be admitted to the University of Idaho as a degree-seeking student. Notice of 乔治T. Warren Award does not indicate admittance.
- Have a physical disability as covered under the terms of the trust. 在一般情况下, the scholarship is awarded to students who have significant sensory impairments, orthopedic impairments requiring assistive devices, and/or systemic health conditions that substantially limit one or more major life activities.
- Demonstrate academic ability. 学生 must have at least a 2.0的绩点.
Undergraduate and graduate students in any academic area are eligible. Both part-time and full-time students are eligible. Funds will be adjusted accordingly.
